Juventus in talks to sign Di Maria on one-year contract as PSG decide against triggering renewal option

The Argentine sensation has enjoyed seven year successful spell at Parc Des Princes and according to reports his time in Paris is coming to an end.

According to multiple reports, Juventus are in talks to sign Angel Di Maria on a one year contract as Paris St Germain won’t renew his contract.

Di Maria has been an integral part of PSG in the last couple of years, since joining from Manchester United in 2015, forming a formidable partnerships with the likes of Mbappe, Messi, Neymar, Cavani, etc over the years.

PSG are however not considering renewing his contracts that ends in the summer and the player is said to be considering a new challenge with Juventus in Italy.

Juventus are said to be in talks with Di Maria to sign him for a season with an option of a second. Allegri is said to like the player as he believes he’ll bring in quality and experience to the squad.

Di Maria is said to be settled in Paris with his family but covid related financial issue at the club is making it impossible to trigger his renewal clause.

Di Maria has recorded 91 goals and 117 assists in 291 appearances for the French giants to date, and won his fifth Ligue 1 title with the club after their 1-1 draw with Lens on Saturday.
