When Josep Maria Bartomeu signed Ousmane Dembele in 2017, No blaugrana imagined what a pathetic transfer it’ll turn out to be.

Coming out of an incredible season for Dortmund, the French kid had the world at his feet.

So far he, all he’s done is cause Barcelona one problem after another.

After the financial impact of the corona virus, the club is in a financial mess and several huge wage bill players have become expendable and Dembele is no exception.

Refusal to accept a wage cut coupled with his agents ridiculous demands had set the player for a summer exit only for the tables to turn and the player himself willing to make some sacrifice.

Dembele has scored one goal in all competitions this season for the Blaugrana, but leads the team in assists with 11 from 28 appearances.

Recent meetings between agent and club emerged with reports the player is determined to continue playing under coach Xavi Hernandez and is willing to take a huge pay cut to make it happen.

The player hasn’t really had the grounds running since his €105 million transfer from Dortmund and club are willing to let him go if he doesn’t take a cut.
