“Barcelona will regain its identity under Xavi Hernandez” – Dani Alves

Barcelona’s Brazilian right back, Dani Alves has insisted that Barcelona will regain its identity again under coach Xavi Hernandez.
The veteran is of the opinion that things at the blaugrana Club will start going back to the way they were soon

Barcelona sit at 15 points behind league winners, Real Madrid and will confirm their automatic UCL qualification with a victory over rivals, Real Betis during the weekend.
The Brazilian who initially left he Catalan club in 2016 having won a whooping 23 trophies returned last winter and has become an important piece of the club both on and off the field.
“We must be united, be positive, things are going to change, as they changed when Ronaldinho arrived. Before he arrived, it seemed that things were not going [well],” Alves told the club’s media channels on Tuesday.
He continued
“Afterwards, it seemed that it would not be repeated, we [Guardiola’s team] arrived and what happened was historic.
“Now it seems that we are living through this moment of transition, but it will be again. We must be positive and have that faith, that desire and that illusion of things changing and it will [happen] again.

“This club has a lot of resilience, it has had to reinvent itself several times. You have to hold on to that power that this club has to return it to where it deserves to be. It is a club made to win, to be ahead. We have to keep winning, for people to want to be like Barca.”
Barcelona definitely had their moments this season under Xavi and went 14 match unbeaten looking like they’ll launch a major la liga fight until things turned sour.
Now, Alves is of the opinion that the club is only going through a phase and there’s no better teacher than Xavi to lead these current crop of young players into the future.
