Chelsea midfielder, Ngolo Kante could leave club in January as talks for a new deal with the club hits dead end

According to multiple reports, Chelsea Midfielder, Ngolo Kante could be on his way out in January as talks of a contract extension hits dead end.
Kante and Club owner, Boehly have been locked up in a contract renewal drama as the club wants the player to sign a two year deal with an option for a third while the player wants a much more long term contract.
It is said that negotiations have been halted for now as the club are insisting on not giving him what he wants.
The club has stressed upon his age and recent injuries to be the main reason why a longterm deal isn’t ideal for the 31-year-old right now.
Kante joined the blues in 2016 and has gone on to form an integral piece of their midfield under every and any manager since then.
It remains to be seen whether both parties would eventually make a compromise but Kante could become a free agent as early as next summer.
