Two Chelsea players set to miss UCL game against Red Bull Salzburg (REPORT)

According to new Chelsea manager, Graham Potter, goalkeeper, Ferland Mendy and star midfielder, Ngolo Kante are set to miss the club’s UCL game against Red Bull Salzburg today.

This would be Potter’s first game in charge and he would be without his star midfielder and goalkeeper.

Potter made this confirmation in a press conference on Tuesday shortly after holding his first full training with the squad.

Kante has been missing in action for over a month with a disturbing injury.

‘Edouard Mendy will miss the game, and so will N’Golo Kante. Both of them are progressing well but the game comes too soon.

‘He [Mendy] has responded well but his knee has been bothering him for a bit. It might not be too long but at the moment he is not available.’
