The hectic club football fixture of the month of October continues as Chelsea takes on Wolverhampton Wanderers barely 3 days after seeing off AC Milan in the Champions League.

Speaking to the press ahead of the game, Chelsea head coach, Graham Potter gave a detailed information about his squad and injury updates.

This would be Graham Potter’s second Premier League game in charge and first at Stamford Bridge after controversially beating Crystal Palace 2-1 last weekend.

Chelsea currently sits fifth on the EPL log, just a point below Potter’s former side Brighton.

Injury List

Defender, Wesley Fofana sustained an injury against AC Milan in the UCL but according to Graham Potter, the injury wasn’t that serious even though he’ll be unavailable to play today.

Edouard Mendy is also back but only started in the bench against Milan as Marc Cucurella also returns.

Ngolo Kante is also set to miss today’s game as he continues his recovery from an hamstring injury that has kept him out of action since August.

It is expected that Graham Potter will deploy a 4-3-3 formation with Kepa Arizabalaga his preferred choice in goal.

In defence, Reece James and Marc Cucurella are expected to start as right and left full backs with Trevoh Chalobah and Thiago Silva at the centre of the defence.
