“After the World Cup, Arsenal will lose form and crumble out of the top four” – former Arsenal player predicts disastrous end of season for Mikel Arteta

Former Arsenal winger, Jermaine Pennant has told all Arsenal fans to enjoy their team’s recent success as much as they can because come Christmas, everything will go to shit for them.

Arsenal have been in astonishing form this season, losing just one game in fourteen matches across all competitions.

While many pundits and analyst have opined that the gunners need to be taken seriously, Jermaine Pennant has other opinion in his head.

A total of nine wins in ten Premier League games ensure Arsenal are top of the league table but Pennant believes their current form is a fluke and they’ll crash after Christmas.

He said :

“I think that Arsenal, after Christmas, will cookie crumble like they did the year before to drop out of the Champions League spots. I’m gonna get criticised and battered by Arsenal fans being an ex-Gooner!”

Pennant continued :

“What Arteta has done at Arsenal, where they were two, three seasons ago and what they are doing now, is absolutely amazing. We are giving Arsenal a lot of praise about where they are going and how they have conducted themselves in the first ten games.

“But it is all about will they maintain that, will they continue that after Christmas? We have seen a lot of teams come flying out the blocks and then as soon as the Christmas period comes and the games come thick and fast, they slip over easily.”, he concluded.
