Chelsea plotting Bruno Guimarâes capture as Newcastle plans to offer him club record contract

According to transfer reports, Chelsea are plotting to capture Brazilian midfielder, Bruno Guimarâes from Newcastle.

The magpies know they’ve got a diamond in their hands and are planning to offer the player an insane club record contract in order to fight of interests from the Blues.

With Kante and Jorginho’s futures in doubt, Chelsea are looking to bolster their midfield options and Bruno Guimarâes has been identified as an ideal fit to Graham Potter’s system.

Bruno only joined Newcastle in January and has become an instant hit, despite his contract running until 2026, Newcastle are now planning to offer him a £200,000 weekly package to make him the club’s ever highest earner.

Newcastle would hope tying the midfielder down in a long term contract would ward off interests from other clubs.

Chelsea, Real Madrid and Juventus are just few of the clubs interested in signing Bruno Guimarâes.
