Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta keen on signing Barcelona forward as Gabriel Jesus’ replacement

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has identified Barcelona forward, Ferran Torres as his replacement for injured striker, Gabriel Jesus.

In January, Arsenal will push for the signing of the young Spaniard whom they’ve tried to poach since his Manchester City days.

Star striker, Gabriel Jesus underwent a surgery after hurting his knee while on international duty with Brazil in the world and the extent of his injury is still unknown.

According to reports, Barcelona are also willing to part ways with the forward as his performances haven’t impressed the club despite on arriving a year ago.

Whether the deal fails or goes through remains to be seen but Ferran is currently on holiday after crashing out of the world cup with Spain.
