“You are acting like a clown and your antics can put Arsenal in danger” – Former Chelsea player slams Mikel Arteta
Former Chelsea player, Chris Sutton has slammed Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta for his touchline antics against Newcastle United.
Sutton believes the gunners manager acts like a clown during matches which could end up earning him a ban.
During their 0-0 game against Newcastle, Mikel Arteta was seen on the touchline arguing and disagreeing with the referee’s decisions, an act that’s made Sutton to blast the Spaniard.
After the game, Arteta slammed the referee for not awarding Arsenal a penalty during the match.
Sutton told truebarcafans : “There is a fine line between being passionate and a clown, and Mikel Arteta was the latter on Tuesday.
“Arteta was at it all game, protesting against every decision.
“Arteta is risking being suspended from the sideline when his team needs him most.
“But it’s not a good look when your manager is acting like a clown.”
